My Favorite Creative Commons | CC0 Image Websites!

My Favorite Creative Commons | CC0 Image Websites!

What does Creative Commons/CC0 mean?

Creative Commons 2.0 and CC0 images, are photos that are free for the public to use even commercially! So let's say you wanted to make a throw blanket using a Creative Commons 2.0 or CC0 licensed image to sell or you wanted to use a Creative Commons 2.0 or CC0 license to create an ad, you are completely free to do so because these images were released into the public domain!

What is Public Domain?

Public domain means free for the public to use, even commercially! Images are released into the public domain voluntarily or because the copyright for that image expired. For example, everything published in the U.S. before 1923 is now in the public domain.

There are lots of great websites out there, and the opinion of which ones are the best among them will vary from person to person. However, as a photographer with over 6 years of experience and a long time photography blogger, this is my top 5 list of the best of the best!
